MANDATED REPORTING: This online training meets the Act 31 requirements. ALL individuals who work with children are required to receive 3 hours of training in mandated and permissive reporting. Deadline for most folks is the end of May, 2015, although some licenses may require the training be completed earlier. (You will need to first obtain a username and password by clicking on the “Registration” link at the top.)

CANS TRAINING: All Master’s-level BHRS staff who work with Magellan clients are required to be certified via Magellan’s online training and certification process. The training and certification are available at the Magellan provider website, free of charge to all Progressions staff. CANS certification is required annually thereafter. To take this, you must first receive a user ID and password from your Site Director. Please note that from the “Education” menu, select “Outcomes Library” then the “Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths” link. Technical Assistance documents for the training and certification process are also available on the website.

MANDATORY PROGRESSIONS COMPETENCIES TRAININGS: These trainings are to be completed every year by all employees. These do not count toward the total annual training hours, but instead are competency trainings for all Malvern employees.
