The Outpatient Therapy Program provides counseling and psychiatric treatment for families, couples, adults, adolescents and children. Most forms of insurance are accepted, including Medical Assistance.
What does this program offer?
We treat various mood, thought, and behavior disorders, and help individuals and families who are struggling to cope with life’s challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, anger management, depression, grief and loss, parenting, phobias, relationship problems, self-esteem, and trauma. We provide a caring environment in which you can identify and explore those issues that may be getting in the way of a more rewarding home life or career or of more fulfilling relationships. The goal is to help provide you with the insights and tools you need to move beyond old limiting beliefs and behaviors. Our compassionate Master’s level therapists utilize a recovery model and are supervised by licensed therapists and psychiatrists.
Individual Therapy – A process which helps individuals identify the challenges they face, their goals for positive change and the supports they need to achieve their desired outcomes.
Couple and Family Therapy – A process that helps families establish open communication and collectively find solutions to the challenges they face. We help empower families and couples to change in healthy ways by emphasizing their strengths, wisdom and other supports.
Group Therapy – A process that allows individuals to come together in a setting with their peers to openly discuss struggles and challenges that they share. In effect, it enables the participants to view themselves through the eyes of others, which can lead to considerable insight. All groups are facilitated by a Master’s level therapist who helps create a safe space for resolution to occur. Groups are frequently focused around a specific topic such as anger, depression, or self-esteem.
Psychiatry – The psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management as needed.
